Crafty Kids Camp Session 1

This is a week long session that runs Monday, August 5th – Friday, August 9th, from 12pm until 3pm. The events takes place at Made By You, located at:

715 Main Street, Springfield

Cost of the camp in all inclusive, and starts at $200 for 1 child. We offer Multi-Child Discount of $25 off when you purchase for siblings or friends. We also offer the same discount if you want to sign your child up for both sessions!

*Due to the nature of the crafts in these sessions, we recommend children ages 8+. There is a certain amount of dexterity and patience involved in completing projects like these, and we apologize for any inconvenience. Think your younger kid can handle it? You know them better than we do. Let us know.

This is the Session 1 Schedule:

Day 1 – Ceramics 
Choose from a variety of ceramic items. Kids will get to glaze their chosen piece, which will be fired and ready to take home on Friday.

Day 2 – Beads
We will be making rolled paper beads and polymer flower cane beads. Kids love using these skills at home afterwards.

Day 3 – Macramé
We will use the beads we made to craft bracelets and necklaces! This is another skill kids will keep with them forever.

Day 4 – Dream Catchers
We will be using artificial sinew and suede with real stone beads and feathers to make beautiful 8 inch dream catchers.

Day 5 – Acrylic Painting
We are going to be painting “Sweet Dreams” on 11 x 14 inch stretched canvas.

Our talented artist instructors will guide your children through the activities step by step. All projects will be put on display and presented to parents/guardians on the last day, so please give yourself an extra 10 or 15 minutes to appreciate everyone’s hard work, before gathering up your projects to take home.
