Crafty Kids Art Camp Session 3

This is a week long session that runs Monday, August 19th – Friday, August 23rd, from 12pm until 3pm. The events takes place at Made By You, located at:
715 Main Street, Springfield
Cost of the camp in all inclusive, and starts at $200 for 1 child. We offer Multi-Child Discount of $25 off when you purchase for siblings or friends. We also offer the same discount if you want to sign your child up for both sessions!
*Due to the nature of the crafts in these sessions, we recommend children ages 8+. There is a certain amount of dexterity and patience involved in completing projects like these, and we apologize for any inconvenience. Think your younger kid can handle it? You know them better than we do. Let us know.
This is the Session 1 Schedule:
Day 1 – Ceramics
Choose from a variety of ceramic items. Kids will get to glaze their chosen piece, which will be fired and ready to take home on Friday.
Day 2 – Satchel Sewing
We will be making cloth Satchels, Purses, Shoulder Bags – whatever you want to call it, it’s going to be great! These are double layer bags with snaps and buttons and all the cute. Kids will have a selection of fabric prints to choose from.
Day 3 – Summer Garden Resin Pour
Kids are welcome to bring a selection of special rocks or their own pressed flowers if the wish, but it is not a requirement. All the supplies are provided including a myriad of dried flowers, glitter and other fun accessories.
Day 4 – Balloon Animals, and Paper Mâché Piggy Bank
Kids are going to have fun learning how to make simple balloon animals. Then we are going to use a balloon dog as a base for a paper mâché piggy bank.
Day 5 – Acrylic Painting
We are going to be painting “Sun Loving Sunflowers” on 11 x 14 inch stretched canvas.
Our talented artist instructors will guide your children through the activities step by step. All projects will be put on display and presented to parents/guardians on the last day, so please give yourself an extra 10 or 15 minutes to appreciate everyone’s hard work, before gathering up your projects to take home.
