Fall Craft Camp!
This is a 3 day session. It runs Monday, November 25th – Wednesday, November 27th, from 2pm until 5pm.
The events takes place at Made By You, located at:
715 Main Street, Springfield
Cost: $25 per child per day
Days: November 25, 26, 27
Time: 2pm – 5pm
Ages: 6+ *without an adult
YES! This camp is also for OLDER KIDS. I know what your older kid is thinking. 6+? It’s a baby camp. No way, man! The projects will be fun and challenging for any age, and Made By You has plenty of space for older kids to sit at their own table. No worries. Come have FUN!!!
*Due to the nature of the crafts in these sessions, we are only accepting children ages 6+ without an adult. There is a certain amount of dexterity and patience involved in completing projects like these, and we apologize for any inconvenience. Smaller kids are certainly welcome, with an adult helper. The days build on each other, and many projects have to cure overnight. While it is best to attend the full camp, I understand that this is a busy time of year. I will make sure your child has a great time, regardless. Projects that require an overnight process will remain available for pickup at Made By You for 30 days.
This Crafty Littles Camp is stuffed full of quality crafts and paintings. Some of the projects your child will enjoy making include:
Bead Making
We will make a variety of beads, such as rolled paper and polymer clay. The kids will get to make necklaces and bracelets with their own special beads on Day 2.
Yarn Crafts
Yarn and string are such fun mediums, and the children will enjoy making their own little wall hangings. If there is time, we will practice weaving on a French loom.
Acrylic Painting
We are going to be painting a faux stained glass cornucopia.
Glue Batik
The kids will be creating a wearable work of art. Each child will receive a bandana to decorate, and learn a super fun technique.
Our talented artist instructors will guide your children through the activities step by step. All projects will be put on display and presented to parents/guardians on the last day, so please give yourself an extra 10 or 15 minutes to appreciate everyone’s hard work, before gathering up your projects to take home.
